Parte de su historia se construye a partir de su inter\u00e9s por la pol\u00edtica. <\/p>\n

Mediante ese personaje logr\u00e9 desarrollar un conjunto de acciones para resaltar diversos temas de inter\u00e9s com\u00fan. Un paso importante sobre esa reflexi\u00f3n fue la creaci\u00f3n simb\u00f3lica de su participaci\u00f3n en la carrera electoral por la presidencia de los Estados Unidos de Am\u00e9rica en el a\u00f1o 2016.<\/p>\n

Cada una de las producciones de mi obra estuvo vinculada a un conjunto espec\u00edfico que buscaba promover los derechos en el \u00e1mbito pol\u00edtico, cultural, econ\u00f3mico y social. Fue una forma para fomentar la movilizaci\u00f3n ciudadana. El derecho a tener derechos se erige como una plataforma principal de acci\u00f3n a favor de la visibilidad de esos grupos que a menudo son invisibilizados por los discursos pol\u00edticos y medi\u00e1ticos.<\/p>\n

Para lograr tal prop\u00f3sito, las acciones y fotograf\u00edas de Miss Wynwood apuntaron a construir una alternativa como contrapunto al discurso pol\u00edtico del candidato republicano Donald Trump desde diversas plataformas creativas. <\/p>\n

Para ambientar el marco de representaci\u00f3n de Miss Wynwood, se cre\u00f3 un partido pol\u00edtico llamado FAFA, un manifiesto y la construcci\u00f3n ficticia de un comando de campa\u00f1a electoral. Todo ello, a su vez, serv\u00eda de reflexi\u00f3n sobre la masificaci\u00f3n publicitaria donde las pr\u00e1cticas art\u00edsticas pod\u00edan desplegar nuevas opciones culturales y formas democr\u00e1ticas alternativas. <\/p>\n

La propuesta articulaba lo pol\u00edtico con la experiencia cultural, era un espacio para meditar sobre el marco referencial cultural de la comunidad latina en el contexto de la diversidad cultural estadounidense. Para ello, utilic\u00e9 elementos, expresiones, ideas y palabras contextuales e iconogr\u00e1ficas.<\/p>\n

En el lenguaje com\u00fan venezolano, la gente utiliza el t\u00e9rmino cambur (pl\u00e1tano) para referirse a alguien que ocupa un puesto muy importante en el sector p\u00fablico, que generalmente se obten\u00eda por medios muy distantes de los basados en m\u00e9ritos. En este sentido, se dice que personas que ocupan un cargo p\u00fablico simplemente por compartir las mismas tendencias pol\u00edticas, o el mismo ADN, han obtenido \u201cun pl\u00e1tano tan grande\u201d (Tremendo cambur). Se entiende que se les permite permanecer en el cargo y disfrutar de todos los beneficios, siempre que el familiar que designe dicho cargo permanezca en el cargo.<\/p>\n

El actual presidente de la Rep\u00fablica Bolivariana de Venezuela, Nicol\u00e1s Maduro, est\u00e1 deformando fraudulentamente su cargo. Por lo tanto, es justo decir que Maduro est\u00e1 sentado sobre un \u201cpl\u00e1tano muy grande\u201d, sin intenciones de deponer su cargo o sus privilegios por m\u00e9todos pac\u00edficos o democr\u00e1ticos. Cuando Venezuela cay\u00f3 bajo el r\u00e9gimen de Hugo Ch\u00e1vez, cre\u00f3 una forma de gobierno controlada sin derechos que termin\u00f3 en manos del dictador actual Nicol\u00e1s Maduro. Como parte de ese vicio, muchos de los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n del pa\u00eds (radio, televisi\u00f3n e incluso redes satelitales) se acoplaron a las ideas pol\u00edticas del socialismo del siglo XXI o fueron cerrados.<\/p>\n

Muchos venezolanos hemos luchado a favor de la democracia por diferentes medios, especialmente a trav\u00e9s de las redes sociales. Yo soy Venezuela y tengo derecho a\u2026 es un performance participativo a trav\u00e9s de las redes sociales que comenc\u00e9 a finales de 2015 y continu\u00f3 hasta 2019. Invit\u00e9 a periodistas y personas del \u00e1mbito creativo en Miami, Lima, Bogot\u00e1, Caracas, Nueva York, Madrid, Roma, Venecia, Par\u00eds y Londres para unir sus voces y as\u00ed crear conciencia sobre la actual crisis constitucional, social y humanitaria en Venezuela.<\/p>\n

A la acci\u00f3n se fueron agregando otras personas por iniciativa propia. Para participar, cada persona grababa con su tel\u00e9fono un video con una duraci\u00f3n de trece segundos para luego compartirlo en Facebook, YouTube e Instagram.<\/p>\n

Decid\u00ed utilizar las redes sociales para difundir los videos porque eran una forma activa de apoyar los derechos humanos, civiles y ciudadanos en Venezuela.
